Behold the world through the eyes of a person who loves to travel, is an art historian, photographer and animal lover. Experience life in such vivid reality that you can smell and taste a new country through my descriptions.
What qualities could be a better combination for a person to possess for blogging travel experiences than someone like myself. I am an artist with a masters in Art, an animal lover, and have a vast knowledge of marine life and plants. I’m an individual who has been gifted with a great personality and who enjoys meeting people and talking to strangers. Combine all this with a passion for travel. Does it get any better?
This extreme wanderlust started in the 60’s when I hitch hiked throughout Europe for five months all by myself. The world was mine and I grabbed it completely. I actually kept a journal that was written on French toilet paper. (At that time the toilet paper was like crepe paper and could be rolled up, written on and saved.) It’s a far cry from what the world of blogging opens up to us today. But it was my start and I’ve journaled and photographed my way across Europe, Asia, Africa, Central and South America, The Antarctic and Alaska. The idea of sharing this with the world brings back all the excitement of that first trip.
This desire to meet people and travel never ceased. As a matter of fact it intensified as I grew older and experienced life. I take at least two major trips a year to places that most have only read about in magazines. I’m a stickler for organizing my photographs immediately so that each trip maintains its unique flavor.
So at this moment you might be asking yourself; “why does she need these trips.” The answer is simple. It’s not that I need the trips, it’s that the blog needs me! I have an uncanny eye for detail. I can verbally recreate the excitement of an environment so that you, the reader, are brought along on my journey as if you shared my tent in deepest Africa or observed the Wildebeest being stalked by a lion. My passion for life and travel can become your gateway to a world of tantalizing action and desirable experience.
