I should be selected to win one of the eight different expeditions and be the one to blog from the road because I am fun-loving, adventurous, a keen observer, have a sense of humor, and love to meet and speak with new people. In addition, I enjoy writing and see it as a valuable way to process experiences. I believe sharing information of other cultures helps promote an appreciation of differences and a tolerance of people who are different than you.
Traveling outside my community and meeting new people is essential to being a well-rounded person. I love traveling and have been enriched by each trip that I have taken. I am always eager to try new things and truly enjoy getting to know strangers in a foreign land. I also am acutely aware of my surroundings and go out of my way to explore off the beaten path sites in order to truly experience the place I am visiting. No matter what happens during a trip, I can see the humor of the situation and can usually get others to see the humor as well. I am the perfect choice of the one to blog about my adventure. The people following the blog will feel as if they are there.
